Owned Dells for 20+years. Had good luck with machine but just bought $1300 worth including a downloaded(?) Adobe elements software. Not with the machine (neither was a shred of paper work). Called India and after several transfers did get them to download. Next day tried to open and it was requiring User and Pw. I wish I could review the laptop I ordered...but I don't have it. I'll try to shorten this: I ordered a Dell laptop. I received it and it didn't work. I requested a return online, which no one responded to. I called customer service. They told me I had to call tech support. Sadly I am the owner of a DELL XPS 15 Touch Screen Model 9530 Laptop. This is a top of the line DELL, it retails for around $2000 and it is a steaming pile of dung. DO NOT BUY OR SUPPORT DELL!! This is a joke. Transferred 11 times, always back to India...hung up on 3 times all in 2 hours. Second dell, this one was a gift... I have owned a DELL XPS 15 Model 9530 Laptop now for just under a year. It is without question the worst excuse for a laptop computer I have ever had the misfortune to own. Dont buy dell. Worst company with night mare customer support. Waste of time and money. Full of liars at support center. Horrible. Going to report FTC gov and BBB to complaint issue. Never ever buy any dell products and save your time + money for some better products. On April 8th, 2016, I received an email "offer" from Dell to receive a substantial discount on their XPS8900 computer line. I accepted the offer and carefully selected the individual components that I needed an ordered a computer. I received a different computer, however, for reasons I wasn't told. I have done business with Dell ever since they came out. I purchased my first computer from them back when they had the "Dude, you are getting a dell" commercials were on. I purchased the computers for the company where i worked for 25 years and each time they replaced them, we purchased Dell's. Through the first few years you could call them anytime day or night. Got a DELL XPS 15 9550 this January. Had one side of audio not working, asked for replacement. The replaced one had "hard drive - not installed" which is even worse than the first one. But I still had to send the first one back. The second one DELL wouldn't give me another replacement as it passed the 30 days from invoice date. Okay, I'll just go for repair.
