Dealing with Dell has been a nightmare. I've made many purchases with Dell using their deferred payment plan. I've paid off 2 bills. But I didn't realized, even if you pay your balance off before deferred billing, informed by the reps the bills not separated; you're still charged the interest. My payments never goes down. My i7 iNSPIRON All in One had issues. Finally it would not boot up. And after days talking to India, on a distorted lousy phone line and with people that were impossible to understand, and not very good, Dell replaced the hard drive and the mother board. Bought a Dell i3 for my 50th Birthday, from my Husband. Wanted windows 8.1 to purchase. Initial response from Dell was the usual runaround, passed from person to person, who barely spoke English. On 9/25/2014 @6pm a request for utensils was request by custom upon employee saying was available.When order was serviced no uteniles, a refund was requested and manager claim I record of my order that I have receipt for and was told ti cintact my bank.The bank states there was no charge to debit card. I ordered a Dell Inspiron 17 I7 laptop in February, 2014. When I placed the order, I specifically asked for WIndows 8.1 Pro because I am an IT Manager and do a lot of work from home remotely. I clicked unsubscribe link and filled up the forms in several attempts. This should be really a simple one-click procedure. Contacted Dell through chat and they assured me my email was taken off the list. Two weeks later emails still arriving I called customer support and they've repeated the same unsubscribe procedure assuring me it will work this time but it takes **** 3 weeks to take effect... I have been getting daily spam email from Dell for months. There is no unsubscribe link. The only way to do this is is to call and go through the customer service ***. It took a long time but I did finally get a person with a middle eastern accent who was helpful and handled it cleanly and with no fuss. Dell by far is the WORST computer company. Thanks for wasting my life, time and money. I tried for 2 HOURS to open the CD drive. Had tech help and all. Still can't get it.
