I ordered a laptop for my daughter for school according to the school requirements but the laptop Dell sent didn't have the specifications ordered". I was then told I would have to pay over $300 to upgrade it to the schools requirements even though the price quoted was for a laptop meeting the school requirements/. The upgrade cost was very close to the student discount we received?.

After speaking to 8 people at Dell they still refused to correct the specifications unless it was done as an upgrade.. I contacted BBB in an attempt to get this corrected because my daughter really liked this Studio 15 laptop?. Dell's response was that I inadvertantly ordered the wrong specifications;. They never admitted or apologized for sending the wrong specs?.

Since Dell obviously doesn't value it's customers and provided extremely poor customer service we returned the laptop and bought an Apple and we are very pleased with the Apple;. We never had a chance to speak to the Dell sales rep again after the order was placed, we were told he was promoted. 1288cfb

I am unlucky customer of Dell. I ordered for a Studio XPS laptop with a 5 series ATI Graphics card. But Dell send me a laptop with a 4 series Graphics card and I contacted their Customer care service through phone. All the time some of their agents took the call and asked me the complaint. Then they told me to hold the call and then disconnected it. After 3 or 4 times I asked for an email address to send a complaint, then an *** gave me the Dell web address and told me find out the customer support email address. That time I myself disconnected the call. Then I send an email to their customer care. After two days an agent called me and asked the complaint. As I had to go abroad within a week, I asked them for a replacement with in one week. But she told it will take more than two or three weeks to get a replacement since they had to verify my complaint. So I didn't opt that way and decided to use that *** laptop. Please don't go for a Dell product, you will never be satisfied with a Dell product, so SAVE MONEY SAVE TIME and SAVE ENERGY.

just got my sale date postponed based on RESPA

Please check out the following links and learn what destruction this bank is causing us!

They bought our loans for 70% of value

...if they modify they get $1500 credit from the gov't

...if they sell they get 80% of net loss!

Check the math- they make 10% of the original loan amount ($70,000) in my case to get rid of me ...or $1500 to take half of what they were getting...

easy to figure which one they want!

Did you have the price quote in writing? Did you have the order in writing?

then you bought a Mac? you really are ***. You just spent twice as much for a laptop with a different OS installed. Thats it. Same hardware as a laptop. Nothing different except the case.

*** I wish I had a store in your area....
