Bad customer service

Extremely bad customer service. I had an issue with the computer after I got the computer from dell repair. I called like 10 times to fix the issue. They put me on hold and then disconnect the line everytime. Extremely disappointed and now I have to get help from somewhere else to fix the issue.

Expensive and poor quality

I have brought Dell Inspiron 7373 with Memory: 8 GB Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8550U on 18.Aug.2018 at SGD2,228. The next year (05.Oct.2019) I encountered smoke came out from SD card slot. On 10.Apr.2020 the adaptor caused my house power trip and then on 6.Jul.2020, the battery got problem need to change. The battery changing enquiry sent more than 2 months (from 6.Jul.2020 till now) I did not receive any update from Dell team. They are selling the products in Singapore but their technical team in Malaysia. After your laptop warranty expired, their staff not even bother to attend you.

User's recommendation: don't buy their product if no technical service centre in your country.

Lack of replacement part

Ordered a gaming wireless mouse. Charging cord broke after 9 months, and they do not have a replacement cord. Only option is order a new mouse. Customer service is TERRIBLE!

The worst customer service EVER! I spent 46000 INR ordering a laptop that was never delivered. The shipping tag shows it never left. Dell customer care is NOTHING! I have spent 4-5 hours on hold in total, been disconnected 6 times and received NO phone calls back. I have filed online complaints but again, my Indian agent cannot help.

User's recommendation: never purchase from dell website.

Poor customer service

I have mailed Dell several times they have ignored all my mail. Its sad I wish I knew to expect this from a company that I considered to be reputable.

Dell technical support took the monitor I purchased from Office depot and provided me one that does not work and now I cannot get replacement as they purposely did not register it, to show no record of it so as a customer I ma out of pocket fore the monitor I purchased. Dell Support sucks they transfer you from dept to dept in an effort that you will give up. you will spend hours waiting in queue,

Customer care and Technical Support

A 5820 Tower Workstation was shipped without a boot SSD drive. The invoice includes the SSD as well as a 2 TB storage drive to replace a 250 GB 2.5" storage drive. When Customer Care was notified of the missing SSD they transferred me to Technical Support which advised me that it was CC. After exchanging numerous emails I asked to correspond with a manager. Instead I was connected to a senior advisor. Like is subordinate, he maintained that the SSD was not part of the purchase even after I sent him a copy of the invoice that included it and the packing slip that did not. Do I have to sue Dell for a $49.99 SSD?

Took my money and never delivered my computer

The worst customer service EVER! I spent $1700 ordering a laptop that was never delivered. The shipping tag shows it never left. Dell customer care is NOTHING! I have spent 8 hours on hold in total, been disconnected 6 times and received NO phone calls back. I have filed online complaints but again, my Indian agent cannot help. How can this happen in the USA? No USA contact without filing in court?

Can’t Even Place A Simple Order

Ordered online made payment. Got email saying my card did not go through. Check with Card Co and was all clear to take payment. Got on a call with Dell Rep and Card Co to do transaction. Card Rep sees no transaction processed, Dell Rep then checks and says it is a internal Dell order processing problem. Says some one will contact me by end of day. No one contacted me. Chat with deal service, told me they will send confirmation, none sent. Git on the phone with another customer service, at the end he sent me email, said call Dell after the weekend. Over the weekend decided to Cancel order, call 40mins on hold no connection. Sent email cancelling order CC: Michael.Dell@***.com ....... what a waste of time ..... never again in this lifetime

So upset & frustrated

Shipment never received and can't get customer service to stay on the line after waiting more than an hour to talk to someone. Have even tried "chat" and get disconnected there. I just want my money back at this point.Go

Problem

Called to provide a new cc # since I rec'd an email that my monthly subscription was not authorized. I was put on hold twice then tried to live chat and someone named Mohammed sent me a message to call another department. $ calls, 4 transfers, 1 live chat and still no help.

Pissed off customer

trying to cancel my monthly subscription service...and they only cancel part of the subscription service...then when I tried to call Dell Customer Care, they keep transfer me to different departments....was on the phone waiting for more than 5 hrs....then they said they are closed. very pissed off customer, am still trying to cancel the rest of my subscription service with Dell....I am so disappointed and will never buy another Dell product ever again.

Dell finally sent a technician to my house and replaced the motherboard and the hard drive. So far things have been working without any problems. Hard to type with my fingers crossed.

Since the first day I had nothing but problem with the Del XPS 8930. Mouse, keyboard, screen, program(s), sound and numerous shutdowns.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product replacement. Dell had a technician sent to my house and replaced the motherboard and SSD hard drive and so far it is working ..

I have bought a Dell 8930 which was almost the top of the line. Well from day one I have had technical problems with this computer. It has been back in or repair but it came back and still has the same problems. Screen freezes, mouse freezes, blue screen of death, squelching coming from speakers, keyboard (s) stop working, shuts off by it self, heats up, and programs that were installed stop working and have to be reinstalled. That the easy part???? I am going to try and get my money back. I have three other computers running the same Windows 10 and programs and have zero problems?

User's recommendation: Don't buy this Dell XPS 8930. Poor, Poor workmanship and quality of product.

Returns/Purchase

Dell customer service is all around bad. Canceled orders aren't automatically refunded (gift card used arent automatically reversed) and you have to actively contact customer service to do so, and it takes 3-5 business days, and even that is unreliable as it takes multiple customer service reps as they never get it done within the 3-5 days. Purchases are challenging with customer service, things get passed on from one rep to another, as they always say "it will take 1-3 business days" and next time the new rep comes along, they know nothing even with the same case number and they just pass the buck. unacceptable

User's recommendation: stay away, purchase elsewhere whenever possible.
