Dell in Los Angeles, California - Cheap Battery - Can't Use OEM

I purchased an expensive Dell laptop.After 15 months, the battery failed. When I purchased an OEM battery, I discovered that Dell programmed the laptop so it halted in DOS to tell you the battery would not work. The battery seemed to work fine, but it was a pain to manually intervene each time I turned on the PC. I won't buy a Dell product again!! I also resent having to talk to Pakistan or Indian EVERY TIME that I call. They ask me to provide account information that I see on the screen IN MY ACCOUNT!! NO MORE! Former Dell Custom

Dell Tech Support

I contacted dell tech support. I told them I was having problems with outlook and I couldn't pull up my windows firewall nor could I update my computer. After spending all day on the phone with me attempting to fix the problem. Finally technician said that I needed to eliminate one of my programs, I had spyhunter for malware and another for viruses. After I bought a higher viersion of system mechanic the tech said he had installed it. It in fact was not installed and that wasn't even the problem. Now the tech said he had installed the system mechanic on my computer when in fact he didn't. so I was left without any virus protection and charged 129.95. Then after all day he said he couldn't fix the problems with my computer because I needed a parallell installation of windows 7 and that would cost me 129.95. I asked for my original virus program back but they couldn't do it because they didn't own it. I would have to go back to the manufactoer and ask them to. After being told I needed to have a paralell installation of windows 7 I called the number the tech supervisior gave and was told they couldn't do it. I would have to call the tech support overseas whcih is where I had been lied to several times and messed up my computer. I did get a refund for the software and the service they failed to provide but this is rediculous

Dell in Los Angeles, California - Paid in full

I bought a Dell Latitude/D620 and its working horrible I never got a recovery disk so I can not fix whats wrong. People tell me every laptop should come with a recovery disk and a photo shop. I have neither. I would love to have them sent to me. I figured since it was Clearinghouse it would be the best laptop to buy. Its like a note book. Very disapointed Can you please send me these items. I have no sound on my laptop. How are you going to no who I am. Denise Chisom a very unhappy person
