So I bought a Dell Laptop, the Latitude model, about two years ago and got the two year warranty. Last Saturday, a week before the warranty runs out, my battery dies so I called up Dell with warranty info in hand.
The customer service person puts me through this long process saying that they don't have me on file. A half an hour later then she says that she only has the computer on file. Then she tells me they do have my warranty on file. Well which is it?
When I tell her that my battery has fried out, she tells me its not covered.
What is the use of a warranty of a laptop if the power source is not covered? Buyer beware of anything Dell.
