Dell Technical Support
I just want to let you know that my computer as, of now is working fine. But I have to bring this to your attention. When you file a complaint against Dell they will get the computer back right. Then, later on in the future they will start messing with it again. I have reminded them over and over about this. What they does is try to wait for a good period of time when they think you got your mind off them they, try to make you think they are not messing with your computer. Then, they start messing with all over again. I know the games that they play. I know my computer and I can tell every time when they are messing with it or, have some other microsoft office doing it for them. First they start by, they use to send these popup boxes and have a telephone number for you to call them saying that your computer has a spyware or, an adware virus. Don't fall for this baite. My computer is protected from viruses. If you don't call them they, will make the computer start going crazy it get all out control. Then, somebody will call you and ask if something wrong with your computer or, your computer is giving signals to their database. They know all the time that something is wrong with it because they are the one that's doing it. That's to get you to let them into your computer for a charge. Now, since this wasn't working for them. They got it fixed so, that when you go into certain links. This terrible sound goes off on your computer. This is too scare you into calling them. So, they can charge you to fix it. They have beef at me because I am too smart for them. So, they think that if they can't get me in one way. They will try to get me in another way. They try every way they can to get even with me. But that beef that they got against me. They better save it because they might need it for dinner one day. They think that they are slick but, they can stand a whole lot of greasing. For now, the computer is back to normal. Ask me how did it get back right? They fixed back right. I didn't fix it, and I did not call them, and I will never call them. When they mess with it again. I will be complaining on them again. They should leave well enough alone. Computer hackers they don't give you their name and telephone numbers or, call you up on the phone. If a computer hacker is messing with your computer and they give you their name and a number to call them. They have to know that this is imprisonment time for messing with people personal information.
Dell used to be awesome! Used to be...
I've been working extensively with computers for the last 25 years. First, as an ACAD Drafter, then as a web designer. So I've had a lot of experience with different computer brands. When Dell first came out they were wonderful! Their customer service rocked and their products were awesome. I purchased everything I needed from Dell, from desktops to printers. Now, you can't get support from anyone who speaks English and they can't keep orders straight. It took me forever to get the right computer and the right components to fit it. They sent me the wrong memory cards and then the wrong computer. The mouse I purchased, quit working within the first 2 months. The laptop they sent has a silver keyboard and you cannot read the characters on it. The keyboard is lit, but the light is too faint to see. There is not a single screen resolution that will fill my screen correctly and everything looks too small when compared to my desktop at home and at work. Even their support techs could not figure it out. Now that my laptop is out of warranty, it is having weird issues with the battery. The only way to get any help is to extend my warranty. They used to be so much better than they are now. They would at least talk to you and give you ideas about what might be wrong. Now past customers are just yesterday's trash as far as they are concerned. I might as well stick with a computer I can buy from Best Buy. Their support and quality are not any worse than Dell's is now. It's just not worth dealing with Dell any more. :(

DELL stands for SH*T! Over Priced Garbage!
Sadly I am the owner of a DELL XPS 15 Touch Screen Model 9530 Laptop. This is a top of the line DELL, it retails for around $2000 and it is a steaming pile of dung. I have had this laptop for nearly a year, from July 27th, 2015, and within a month it began to have issues. First it was Video Driver Crashes, DELL Support (I assume India from the accent) updated the video drivers, as well as the BIOS, yet the issue continued on and on. Then added to the video driver issue, the battery began to fail to recognize the AC Adapter. At this point I should have known that I had a lemon for a laptop, but since DELL (WAS) a reputable manufacturer of high quality computer systems, I make the mistake of thinking this was a fluke. DELL replaced the AC Adapter which did resolve that problem but the annoying Video crash continued. So DELL sent a "Technician" with a replacement Motherboard, and the video error was gone for about a day, and then returned. Within 10 days the laptop would not power on, only the power button light would illuminate, but the Laptop would not power on. DELL sends yet another "Technician" with another replacement Motherboard and when he was done, not even the power button light would illuminate. The Laptop had been reduced to a $2000 paperweight. The escalation manager for DELL (I assume India from the accent) contacts me and informs me he will check the factory for a "refurbished" DELL XPS 15 Touch Screen Model 9530 Laptop, while I am not happy at the idea of "refurbished" to replace this less than one year old Laptop, I figure it is better than the $2000 paperweight setting on my desk, the escalation manager tells me he will call me back on Monday or Tuesday, this was on a Friday. The following Tuesday I get an email, not a phone call, an email. The factory doesn't have any "refurbished" DELL XPS 15 Touch Screen Model 9530 Laptops, he will let me know when they do. I emailed him back and told him in no uncertain terms that this was unacceptable. Why should I be inconvenienced by no fault of my own, when DELL produced a clearly inferior faulty product and allowed it to be sold to an unsuspecting consumer? Of course to date May 18th, 2017, there has been no response form DELL.
Dell in Bradenton, Florida - Excess Interest Fees on Purchases
I purchased a Dell computer/printer combo about one and a half years ago. I have had constant problems, especially with the printer. I have been making the regular required monthly payments since purchase and yet with my monthly payment, the interest is as much or more than the principle! I have finally decided to cal the Florida Attorney General as well as my personal attorney regarding this sham. Dell has deteriorated into a substandard inefficient company that should be barred from doing business in the USA. Please check into this problem. This is ridiculous in this day and age. Needs to be made and serviced in the USA! Ben Carlton

DELL XPS 15 Laptop 9530 Rubbish
I have owned a DELL XPS 15 Model 9530 Laptop now for just under a year. It is without question the worst excuse for a laptop computer I have ever had the misfortune to own. It has had an ongoing issue with the video driver crashing, the battery failing to charge, and now after DELL replaced the motherboard a week ago, the laptop fails to power on. While I have no complaints about DELL's Customer Support, although in India, they have really tried to resolve the issues on this lemon, but to put it bluntly, the XPS 15 Model 9530 is a total piece of ***. DELL is now having to once again replace the Mainboard, as well as the A/C Adapter. I will never again own a DELL product and I would recommend that no one buy a DELL product. At one time this was a great company that sold a quality product, those days are gone. Your money would be better spent with another vendor.

I purchased an Alienware for gaming and received a $250 gift card. My mother (in her 80's) needed a new desktop and for the gift card and $50, I purchased one for her. After quite a time spent trying to set it up, I could not get it to work. Spent over 20 hours with...Read more
Dell laptops are Unreliable
I purchased a Dell Inspiron in December of 2013. Within the first 2 weeks, the mother board and CD drive had to be replaced. I also have a battery that won't charge and today the display started failing and going black. This is my 3rd Dell and each one I get is worst than the one before. I called Dell one day after my warranty ran out to talk to them and they won't speak to you without money. I tried to get to a manager but they just transferred me around for 45 minutes and I finally gave up. Today I purchased my second HP laptop, I know the service will be better and I the hardware can't be worst. I also talked one of my friends out of buying the Dell she was going to buy.

DELL XPS DESKTOP and DELL IN GENERAL = GARBAGE
DELL computer once was one of the best brands on the market, now they are absolute rubbish. The hardware is very overpriced yet of an extremely poor quality. It is impossible to get support from anyone in the USA, seems they have sold out to India. The Indian support people are both rude and useless. If you make the mistake of buying a DELL product, you will likely have to sue the company to get any satisfaction. My advice is to not waste your money on any product made by DELL.
Dell is HORRIBLE Windows 10 compatability
Let me start by saying I have 3 dell laptops and 2 PCs and 4 dell printers. I have purchased more than 10 other Dell products for business and personal use over the years. I recently upgraded my Dell 390 desktop to Windows 10. My Dells 5100 CN Laser printer will not work with windows 10. I went to the Dell website to uninstall and reinstall new driver for my printer but Windows 10 is not supported. I called Dell technical support for assistance and advice. I was notified no less than 6 times that my products are out of warranty. I asked if the fact that windows 10 is not compatible with my printer was just temporary or permanent. I was told since my printer was out of warranty it was permanent. WTF is that, a money grab? All I wanted to know was since Windows 10 was new that there would be updated drivers in the future. All Dell wanted to know was pay me for support. Why would I pay you if this was a permanent issue? How could ME paying DELL change a permanent issue to a temporary issue. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER DELL PRODUCT. I do NOT care if a product is 1 day old or 1 year old or even 5 years old, customer service is still customer service and good will counts for more $$$ revenue then a fee. I would have bought many more Dell products if this hadn't happened, now I will NOT and DELL can go EFF themselves. I will tell EVERYONE I know about this!
