I purchased a Dell in Nov 2016.Feb 1 it would not turn on -- would not pass the BIOS.

They want $220 to replace the motherboard. While I think this amount is too much, I am more angry over the fact that it is only 15 months old. Are they unable to build a product that lasts longer than that? With $220 I am almost half-way to a new computer and this time it won't be Dell.

Have had 4 others. Good-bye Dell.

Support line in India got snarky when I said that $220 was half way to a new computer. The tech support line leaves the microphone on so they can hear what you are saying to some one else in the room, but gives the illusiation that you are on hold.

Be careful what you say.Also if your product is off-waranty you can't talk to anybody in the US, so good luck understanding them.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $500.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I didn't like: Hostile.
