I received a new Dell Inspiron 17 7000 for Christmas (7786) Model No. P362.
I have been on with Dell Technical support 4 times due to the fact that screen keeps going black. After the first call, they updated drivers and said the problem was corrected. The screen would then go blank after some time of operation. Once again, I called and went through the process of having them take over my computer.
This morning, once again, the screen went black while using it. Shut it off and turned it back on and the screen is still black. I would like Dell to give swap out this computer for a new one.
I have no faith that this problem will ever be fixed.
This is probably the 8th Dell computer purchased for my household and there haven't been problems in the past. I don't know how to contact someone that I can have this conversation with at Dell.
