Worst Customer Service I have ever had

I have not received my order for 6 weeks now and whenever i call, all i get is a call centre in India that is apologetic and does nothing to help. I have called 5 times now and have been transferred to several people and cut off almost every time. I have had to call back 3 times minimum for every time i have called. There is no Canadian Number for Dell Canada and they are rubbish at their jobs. I just called again and the reception said nobody can help you right now. I started to ask a question and she hung up on me. DO NOT ORDER FROM DELL...You will regret it.

Cancelled an order but billed anyway

Discussed extended warranty on my new computer. Ordered warranty. Immediately decided I didn't want it, cancelled my order and found what I really needed at a fraction of the cost on Dell's website. They charged my credit card anyway. So far they haven't removed the charge!

Dell is far by the worst company: both in product and in customer services. I recently purchased the Dell XPS 15 9570 for about 2000 USD. Worst investment ever. I bought it for the specifications, from the description yes, it seems great but clearly, Dell has no idea how to assemble the hardware ad software. Clearly, they do not test their products before releasing them. The Dell XPS I have continues to restarts randomly ad daily. I keep getting variations of Blue Screens Error Message primarily due to hardware issues. (thank god I am typing this on my Macbook, I just glance over at my Dell and it literally just happened as I write this review, I am happy it happened so I ca share with you the failure code message: Stop Code: Driver Power State Failure) Once it reboots by itself enough times in a day, you can get locked out of your of the computer for over 2 hours. Some safety protocol, I don't understand why. I purchased this computer in July 2020 and the warranty on Dell system states that it expired June 2020. So I cant get it fixed or repaired with getting the extended warranty for avg cost 350 USD, they have two separate offers). Everything above is just about the product itself. Now Customer Services. They have several departments all for different products and different sub-department. The most unprofessional thing is depending on your level of warranty you can wait more than 30 mins until a representative can assist you. Most likely the technical representative will inform you that you are talking to the wrong technical department and will refer you to someone else in the "correct" technical department. Only to have that person to give you information that doesn't help you and transfer you back to the warranty sales department. Its a maze. In summary, I am out 2000 USD for a Dell XPS that doesn't work as it should and with customer support that really don't care to assist you. Dont buy the computer, it's the worst decision you will ever made.

Customer Service

22 times I called customer service just to be hung up on or transfered with no help. The India team which i wouldn`t call them that are terrible. I will never buy dell after the lemon i recieved

Difficulty making purchase

Dealing with non-native Americans. Difficulty with understanding and their refusal to transfer to someone I could deal with. I was planning to buy as I have owned Dell's for many years. But I ended up dealing with Lenovo and even their it was non-native.

I bought an Inspiron 3583 notebook, I haven't paid yet, I need to work, I'm a teacher and I really need the computer working properly, but camera doesn't work, and the Dell attendant told me it's matter of lucky! He criticized my choice for the cheapest guarantee, I was shocked and disappointed.

Sick of big tech ripping people off

Bought a Del paid cash Battery is defective The hard drives are also defective They only replace w the same battery POINTLESS .... Port is defective, drivers wont load, horrid customer service Refusal to give money back even w receipt. 7 mos old ..... still under warranty ....On phone from 9 am to 5 pm w a hurry up and wait for call after failed calls transfers and we'll get back to you when its convenient FOR THEM... Dell is not able to delivered purchased goods

While Corona I needed the microphone in my Dell XPS 15. But it appeared to be not working. Dell didn't want to come along. Software employer on the phone with actual no knowledge other then knowing how to install drivers, didn't get it fixed. So they gave me a 50 $ bones to by a separate microphone in the Dell webshop. I didn't want that, I had invested full warranty and expected that the microphone should be repaired within 1 day. It took a week before they got to the conclusion I had to buy a separated microphone. Thus I ordered a microphone in their webshop. It responded with a delevery tom of 4 weeks. Stupid people, which company has a webshop in which a simple microphone needs 4 weeks to be delivered. But that was not all. I received it after 3 months!!!

Bad service and personal not interested and very very little knowlegde

After one week after receiving my new Dell XPS 15, it stopped working. I had additional warranty, so I thought no problem. However, 3 serviceman came along but could not fix it. After I told them that advanced investigation was needed, there became some action. I wanted a new one in stead of those incompetent service people. But no, they got it and sent it to a repair service point. They refused to deliver a new one, and thus it lasted nearly TWO MONTH's before I got my laptop back. No sorry, nothing. Further to be noticed I bought several laptops by Dell. About half of it had problems. so conclusion is that Dell sells rubbish.

User's recommendation: do not buy Dell, only money counts.

Missing boot ssd

Ordered a Precision 5820 T workstation. It was delivered without a boot SSD drive. Notified Dell Customer Care (CC) three days after receiving machine. CC by automated email four days later. One week later I was advised my problem was a technical one and transferred to Technical Support (TS). After 40 minute discussion with M. Navarro, I was told a replacement would be shipped and to return the defective machine in the shipping box. M. Navarro was contacted three times with no reply for two weeks. Re-contacted CC and provided copy of invoice #104******** showing I paid for a boot SSD and packing ship that stated no SSD was included. After posting my original Pissed Con., on September 17. 2020 Sharon_mary@***.com contacted me and apologized for the delay. She is an inside sales Representative. I provided her a copy of the invoice and packing slip. There has been no further communication with Dell. Now I am past the 30 day return policy with a computer I did not order. Will file suit for cost of the 5820 T and request punitive damages. Incidentally, Dell does not sell a 5820 T without a boot SSD.

User's recommendation: Buy HP. If Dell, check graphic card, boot drive, storage drive and CPU to make sure your machine is what you ordered.
