I bought DELL inspiron 15R Laptop, in the month of June 2010. Around one month ago, my laptop is taking enough time for booting. Errors like windows failed to start, a hardware or software change might be the cause etc., is getting displayed ever time. As I approached the technical support team through phone, they are demanding amount of Rs. 7400/- since my laptop is out of warranty now. As I could not afford the amount, I approached one of the DELL service nearby home. They told me hard disk has gone.
Is it possible that hard disk will go within one year. I'm hardly using my laptop for max 4 hrs in a week since I'm working computer profession in office. I bought this DELL laptop after lot of enquiry made to my friends circle. Presence of company name, quality, reliability I have chosen this DELL laptop . please respond to my concern.
